Lacey Lilac and Sparkles

Here is a another simple manicure! I used "Lacey Lilac" by Sally Hansen for the base color and Recollection's sparkles. I used tape in order to make the lines. It chipped pretty fast unfortunately, but it was pretty while it lasted! Here are some more pics...

"Lacey Lilac" and "Brooke"

This is a really simple manicure cause I'm kinda busy right now. It's two coats of "Lacey Lilac" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, and one coat of "Brooke" by Julep as a shimmer top coat. The "Lacey Lilac" color is a creme finish, while "Brooke" has a jelly finish. It was a really thick manicure, and once it tried it looked really good because of it. Here are a few more pics!

Watercolor Nails

These are absolutely some of my favorite nails. They are so incredibly easy to do and they look really cool (: Just paint your nails whatever base color you want, mine is "White On" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, and then put dots of colors in the corner (one color at a time). Take a tooth pick and pull it through the dot a few times. That's all! Add a top coat and Viola!

The colors used for my dots are: 

"Fushia Power" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

"Blue for you" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

and some purpley color by Forever 21's Love and Beauty

Champagne and Sparkles!

This manicure feels so elegant (: I love pinkish color underneath, it applies so well and smoothly! And the OPI sparkles are gorgeous. If I had this top coat before, I definitely would have worn it to one of my proms. 

The base coat is: Revlon "Snowflake Pink"

The sparkles are: Sephora by OPI "It's Bouquet with Me"

How do you guys like this? Do you agree that it's elegant, or is it too sparkley?

Alien Nails!

Well I have no idea why I think these are space-y, but it probably has something to do with the fact that I was watching Thor while doing them. They were incredibly easy to make, just used my dotting tool. I  made the design and then used a matte top coat by OPI.. this is what the base color looked like without it...

Colors: Grey/Silver: "Gunmetal" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

Lavender: "Lacey Lilac" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

Black: "Where's the Jack?" by OPI

Tape Art!

These are super easy and fun. Just paint normal scotch tape and cut it into whatever shape you want. Viola! The base coat is Sally Hansen Hard as Nails "Lacey Lilac." I've been wanting a color like this and now I finally have it. I love it. I hope you like it (: I'm definitely going to do more "tape art." It's very fun (:

Double Chevron

I did these nails for prom! They were super easy and I actually didn't have to redo even one! The tape worked every time! My dress was purple and these colors accented it very nicely (:

Polka Dot Lines!

These nails are just too cute. I am loving polka dot nails, I may just need to do them all the time so I can get them outta my system (: I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails - White On for the base coat and Shany Cosmetics Nail Art Polishes for the dots. The dotting tool makes this incredibly easy. I mean really, it could be made with any colors, it's so fun!

"Virtuous Violet" with OPI and Sparkles

So I went over to my friend's house yesterday and I told her about my blog! She asked me to do her nails since she had prom today! Her dress is silver and her shoes are purple, so I really liked including both of those! She received the sparkley polish as a gift from someone, and there is absolutely no label on it! So sorry, I can't tell you guys what it is ):

The purple is Nicole by OPI, and it's called "Virtuous Violet." I actually really hated it.. It was really chunky and it didn't come on evenly. As you guys can see there are parts that look really thin and others that look thick! But you could only tell in the harsh light, so she was happy with it.

Sparkles!
