Watercolor Nails

These are absolutely some of my favorite nails. They are so incredibly easy to do and they look really cool (: Just paint your nails whatever base color you want, mine is "White On" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, and then put dots of colors in the corner (one color at a time). Take a tooth pick and pull it through the dot a few times. That's all! Add a top coat and Viola!

The colors used for my dots are:
"Fushia Power" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails
"Blue for you" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails
and some purpley color by Forever 21's Love and Beauty

Bold Feathers

I wanted to do something different last night and this is it! I really like them, they're very edgy (: For the accent nails, I was going to do polka dots along the lines.. but I thought sparkles would look cool too (: The color underneath is that blue color from Forever 21 that I couldn't find the specific name for, and the lines and sparkles are from my Shany nail art polishes (:

Here are a bunch more pictures.. The blue doesn't completely contrast the blue but the subtlety is nice (:

Rainbow Polka Dots

These are so cute! The base coat is "Jessica" by Julep, and all the dots are made from Shany Nail Cosmetics Nail Art colors.. I used the Konad Plate m79. The yellow didn't show up too well so I used the dotting tool to go over them. Here are more pictures (:

"Jessica" and a "Nail Caviar" Substitute

So I'm sure you've all heard of nail caviar.. Well I think it's ridiculously expensive and even thought I thought it was cool.. I just didn't think it was worth it. But when I was at Michael's I saw these microbeads.. And I decided to try them out! I think they look really good (: What about you guys? The blue is "Jessica" by Julep.. I LOVE it. I really am obsessed. It's only fitting that it's named after me (; The microbeads came in a set from the brand Recollections.

Patina by Love & Beauty

I adore this color. It's definitely in one of my all time favorites. It amazes me that such cheap nail polish from Forever 21 can look so good. This is two thin coats and it looks amazing. I just couldn't even bear to put nail art on it.. it looks great just the way it is! Hope you guys like it too!

The weird (and annoying) thing about Forever 21's nail polish is that they don't have a name on their cap.. SO! I typed in the product number into their website and it came up with nothing. "Patina" was next to the barcode under the description though so I typed that into their search bar too, and it came up with "Fairy Tale Blue," but that had a different product number. It also highly resembles "Shimmering Ocean" from their website (but again, they don't have the same product number). So sorry, I can't get you the exact name ): But here are the links to both colors.. Enjoy!

Bright Geometric Shapes!

Well these definitely took more effort than most nails! I did the orange which is Revlon "Marmalade" and expected to be able to wait about thirty minutes then put the tape on to make the lines.. But it would NOT dry. I even waited an hour and it was just not happening. So I did the orange and then went to bed so I wouldnt have to worry about it. The next day it was all good (: Note to self: use a quick dry polish for the base when using tape!

Colors:
Orange: "Marmalade" by Revlon
Yellow: "Lightening" by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri
Blue: "Blue me Away" by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

Here are more photos... Please excuse the henna...

Turquoise Gradient Sparkle!

Okay.. I LOVE this manicure! But I'm not gonna lie, I don't love the nail polish I used. The color is great, and in the end it looks good. But applying it is such a hassle. It seems super thin, but then it clumps up if I use more than one layer. UGH! Anyways, it looks good huh?!

So the turquoise-y color I used is called "Blue for You" by Savina. It really does look great for the end product haha (: Then as usual, I used a Forever 21 turquoise sparkle for the top coat. I made a gradient for the first time in my manicure history and I think it turned out pretty well! I was pleasantly surprised (: Their nail polishes are so cute and they're so cheap!

The only problem with this manicure is that because of the gradient, I had a ton of players of polish on the tips of my nails.. and then I decided to bake cupcakes. Not such a good idea, it smudged within the first five minutes. But you know what that means?! I'll have a brand new manicure for you guys tomorrow (:

Worth it? (:

Polka Dot Lines!

These nails are just too cute. I am loving polka dot nails, I may just need to do them all the time so I can get them outta my system (: I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails - White On for the base coat and Shany Cosmetics Nail Art Polishes for the dots. The dotting tool makes this incredibly easy. I mean really, it could be made with any colors, it's so fun!

I hope you guys like it.. Here are more pictures!

Peacock Nails!

Ah! These are my peacock nails! I absolutely love these, they're so cute! I used my Shany Nail Art polishes for the green stripes, Sally Hansen Quick Color Gold Chrome for the outer circle, Sally Hansen "Blue Me Away" for the middle circle, and another Shany Nail Art Polish for the inner dot. Oh! And the color for all the other nails is Sally Hansen Quick Color Blue Chrome. Super cute, I really like them. I'll probably do them again this summer (: Or at least on someone else!

"Blue me Away" and Sparkles!

I get so many compliments on this color! It's called "Blue me Away!" by Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails. It seems so simple in the bottle but there's something about how it looks on my nails that really catches your eye (: The sparkles are from ABC store in Hawaii, so definitely not something anyone could go pick up and get. Maybe they're online! Anyways, it's from a brand called Island Girl and it's called "Waikiki Sunset," which really doesn't make sense since blue is just about the only color one doesn't think of being in a sunset.. Well, anyways! Hope you guys like it!

Simple Tribal Nails with "Blue me Away!"

Sorry they're a little bit messy, but these are my simple tribal nails. These are really fun cause you can pretty much do whatever design you want. I didn't have an actual nail pen with me so I couldn't do anything too intricate, but I really like how simple these are (: I used the nail art polishes from Shany Cosmetics to do all of the designs. Here they are (:

Fun French Manicure!

This mani took me awhile, because I went back and forth between putting the sparkles on all of the nails or just the ring finger and thumb. Obviously, I went with the first option, but only after wearing it on just the two fingers for a couple days.

Anyways! I started with a base coat and then put two layers of "Where's the Jack?" by OPI. Then I put on the OPI matt top coat which I'm currently obsessed with... Anyways! Then I took the turquoise sparkles by Love & Beauty from Forever 21. I put it on using tape to control the lines. And viola! Here they are, sparkley and all (:
